It takes some guts to just drop everything, hop on a bike and go. But it takes some serious courage to do that with a wife and two young kids.
This is Chris Conk.
In June 2015, him and his wife Julie sold their home in Quebec and took off on bicycles for a long adventure with their two children (eight and eleven years old). Over the next eleven months, they peddled all the way to Costa Rica.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and his family at a hostel in the middle of the jungle in Guatemala.
Chris and Julie wanted to give their children the type of life experience that can’t be found in the classroom. The family’s passion for adventure left me feeling inspired, so much so that I took some time to chat with them and tell the story of their journey.
“Taste it.. Get it. Find it.
Because until you take that first step, you’re never gonna know what that actual first step feels like.”
Thank you, Conk Family.
